Vincent Xuan

Vincent Xuan is the Chief Actuary of Equitable and a member of the Operating Committee. In this role, he leads the company’s Actuarial function, including GAAP & Non-GAAP Valuation, Equitable’s Economic Model Framework, Regulatory Methodology, Model Development, Pricing, Assumptions and Actuarial Operations, Strategic Projects, Business & Risk Partnerships, as well as Process Design & Improvement. 

Mr. Xuan has 19 years of experience in valuation, modeling, pricing and enterprise risk management. Previously, Mr. Xuan was Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer at Prosperity Life Group and before that led the Statutory Valuation, Economic Reporting and Actuarial ALM team at Equitable. Prior to Equitable, Mr. Xuan held various leadership roles at Prudential.

Mr. Xuan holds a Bachelor of Economics in Finance degree from University of Science and Technology of China and a Master of Arts in Statistics from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
