Ready to tackle student loan debt?
If you work for a public school, you may qualify for student loan forgiveness programs, which could result in lower monthly payments. Equitable Advisors Financial Professionals can help you see if you qualify for assistance.2
We support organizations that support you and your school
Equitable has partnered with the Counsel of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) to amplify the National Teacher of the Year (NTOY) Program. Each year, CCSSO provides a new cohort of State Teachers of the Year with a year-long, one-of-a-kind professional learning and development experience. The robust program was designed to increase each inspiring educator’s leadership skills while celebrating their talents and commitment as extraordinary teachers.
We support DonorsChoose, a program that provides public school teachers across the country with much needed materials for their students. Throughout the school year, Equitable Foundation provides a double match offer that doubles every donation to projects identified by educators.
SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions, works with Equitable to empower students and adult allies, mobilize communities and change lives. Together, we have created a financial literacy program to help students and families prepare for the bright future they deserve. In addition, educators can access resources on several different topics.
The Equitable Excellence Scholarship®program funded by the Equitable Foundation supports college-bound students, and recognizes the schools that helped them gain the courage, strength and wisdom to fulfill their dreams. To support students throughout their academic journeys, Equitable will provide 100 $5,000 annual scholarships renewed for four years, for a total of $20,000 per recipient. Equitable will also award 100 students a one-time $2,500 scholarship.
