New York – August 13, 2026 – Equitable, a leading financial services organization and principal franchise of Equitable Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EQH), today announced that experienced advisors Amanda Leija and James “Matt” Yancey have joined its wealth management business, Equitable Advisors.
Leija moved to Freedom Financial Partners, an existing practice in alliance with Equitable Advisors, from Edward Jones, where she managed approximately $45 million in client assets. Based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, she serves a diverse client base that includes retirees, business owners and professionals focused on building retirement savings, following a career in education. Today, Leija applies that same education-first philosophy to helping clients better understand their financial plans and long-term priorities.
“My background in education shapes how I work with clients. My goal is to ensure they feel informed and confident every step of the way,” said Leija. “That’s what drew me to Equitable Advisors, where I have the tools to build deeper relationships and the broad range of financial products and services needed to create personalized strategies for each client.”
Yancey, who is based in Sacramento, California, joins Impact Wealth Management team, also in alliance with Equitable Advisors, from Edward Jones, where he previously managed approximately $66 million in client assets. He entered the industry after a career in economic development, where he cultivated a passion for helping individuals and families build financial security. Yancey was drawn to Equitable Advisors’ collaborative culture and network of well-established teams.
“I have always wanted to be part of a team of CFP® professionals who truly collaborate, so joining Equitable Advisors felt like a natural fit,” said Yancey. “The culture of teamwork and holistic support allows me to work alongside experienced peers, share ideas in real time and focus on what I enjoy most: helping people plan for their financial futures.”
With more than $141 billion in assets under administration,1 Equitable Advisors has approximately 4,600 financial professionals across the country. Experienced advisors who join Equitable Advisors benefit from the firm’s supported independence model, which provides robust capabilities, resources and operational infrastructure.
