Steven M. Joenk is Chief Investment Officer at Equitable and a member of the company’s Operating Committee. He oversees the investment of Equitable’s $75+ billion general account. He also serves as Trustee, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Equitable Investment Management Group, LLC (Equitable IMG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Equitable. Equitable IMG manages over $100 billion in subadvised funds, which include variable insurance portfolios and mutual funds.

From 2004 to 2008, he served as Chairman and President of Enterprise Capital Management, Inc., Co-Chairman of Enterprise Funds Distributor, Inc. and a Director of 1740 Advisers, Inc., MONY Asset Management Inc.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Joenk held senior leadership positions at MeesPierson, Inc., Gabelli Funds, Inc. and Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, a subsidiary of Paine Webber, Inc.

Mr. Joenk graduated from Washington University with an MBA and BS in chemical engineering.
