Four Advisors with more than $360 Million AUM Join Equitable Advisors
Advisors join from Ameriprise, Edward Jones, Merrill and PNC Investments

New York - August 15, 2023 – Equitable Advisors recently hired four experienced financial advisors with more than $360 million combined AUM. The advisors joined from Ameriprise, Edward Jones, Merrill Lynch and PNC Investments.
Ryan M. Shea, CFP®, joined Equitable Advisors’ Atlantic Liberty branch from Merrill Lynch where he oversaw $137 million in client assets. He brings 10 years of industry experience.

Seong T. (Sean) Hahn joined Equitable Advisors’ Greater New York branch from PNC Investments where he managed $109 million in client assets. He brings 30 years of experience.

Ejiro “EJ” Okuma joined Equitable Advisors’ Georgia Alabama branch from Edward Jones where he managed $70 million in client assets. He brings 13 years of experience. “Equitable Advisors gives me the ability to begin growing my own brand in the marketplace without sacrificing the support necessary for continual growth and consistent client satisfaction,” said Okuma.
Matthew I. Kooperman joined Equitable Advisors’ Illinois branch from Ameriprise Financial where he managed $45 million in client assets. He brings 11 years of experience.
