Dental insurance

Encourages you to keep your teeth healthy and can pay all or a portion of your preventive dental treatment costs when you see an in-network dentist

Regular dental care is one of the best ways to maintain a winning smile and protect your overall health. Equitable's dental network offers access to more than 136,000 credentialed dentists so you can receive the care you need, including routine cleanings, fillings and potentially major dental procedures, orthodontia and teeth-whitening benefits.

What it does
Pays for all or part of procedures such as regular cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals and braces, based on your employer’s plan.
How it works
You can visit the dentist for preventive services such as a cleaning and exam. If anything else needs to be done to keep your teeth healthy, we’ll cover all or a portion of the cost, depending on your plan.
What it doesn't do
Cover all costs for all dental procedures. Check with your benefits representative for your company’s specific plan details.

Video transcript:

At Equitable, we help you take steps toward a brighter future, whether that means protecting your family in the long term or ensuring that they’re comfortable and confident today. Often, that includes figuring out where to spend a little extra money.

Meet Camila. She loves her job for its friendly environment and because it allows her to help provide for her family. Through work, Camila was able to purchase a robust dental insurance plan. That means that when she takes her daughter for a routine dental checkup and chooses a dentist in the plan’s network, there is no cost to her because the visit is fully covered. By going to an in-network dentist, Camila gets the most out of her benefits and reduces out-of-pocket expenses. Plus, if Camila’s daughter needs braces, orthodontia is covered at 50% based on her specific plan. This could save her even more.

Regular checkups can go a long way toward keeping you and your family healthy. Without dental insurance, many would have to spend much more for their care, so speak to your benefits representative about options that can help save on routine costs. This one small step can help protect your family’s health and financial future so you can feel secure and focus on achieving your goals.
